1. What makes Photography By Dennis & Yvette unique from other Photographers that may be in the area?
 

*We are a husband and wife team. We both come to the wedding and stay until the end of the reception with every package and without additional hourly rates. We each have our own unique style of photography. Yvette is more into the photojournalism and candid shots and Dennis likes to be creative and take pictures using natural light. When we are finished, the bride and groom pictures become a beautiful storybook album. We also offer ceremony video and the highlights of the reception for those brides that need that service as well.  

2. How long do you stay at the wedding, and do you charge extra for going to the reception?

*We arrive approx. 2 hours prior to the wedding and will be there through the end of the reception or until the bride and groom leave. We do not charge hourly rates on the wedding day. 

3. How far will you travel?

*We will travel anywhere to a wedding. However, outside the upstate area, additional charges may apply.

4. Do you shoot film or digital?

*We use both film and digital in order to capture exactly the right images from the wedding. All can be put on CD if you choose to purchase your negatives.

5. Can the bride and groom’s pictures be put online for family and friends to view?

*Yes, we do have that service available for bride's and groom's that would like to have their friends and family view their pictures. In addition we will provide a low resolution CD with all the images in a slide show format. Pictures may also be ordered from the site using PayPal. 

6. How many cameras do you bring to a wedding?

* We bring 6 cameras to every wedding along with 4 flash units. We also have many types of lenses for any situation.

7. What do you offer in your packages?

*In every package we include our story book wedding album. Each album contains 300 - 400 color corrected 4x6 prints which are the bride and groom’s to keep. We do not give proofs or stamped across the front. They are only noted on the back as copyrighted. The bride and groom also have the option to purchase the negatives with any package for an additional $395.00

8. Can a package be changed to meet my needs?

*Yes, we would be happy to find the right package that will meet your needs. The packages that are listed in our brochure are based on past bride's needs, but every bride has her own ideas when it comes to the pictures that she wants to receive from her wedding day.

9. How long does it take after the wedding to get our pictures back?

*When a bride and groom get back from their honeymoon, all they have to do is call and we will set up the appointment to get the pictures to them. It is usually around 10 days.

10. Do you have references?

*Yes, we have references online at our website www.photographybydennis.com.

Once on the site to the left of the page there is a menu with a referral button. We have had many of our brides and even some mothers sign our referral page. They have made their email addresses available to our future bride’s to contact them for references. Please keep in mind that some emails may have changed. If you try to contact someone and do not get a response, we will be happy to make phone numbers (with bride's permission) available to you for references.

11. Do you have liability insurance?

* Yes, do have liability insurance for your protection.

12. What about family and friends that wish to take photos of their own at my wedding?

* We do not have a problem with family members taking photographs as long as they do not interfere with us getting the photographs that you deserve. Remember, you have paid a photographer to capture all those special moments. Table cameras are welcome at the Reception.

13. Do I need to make a list for you to follow of the pictures that I wanted taken at my wedding?

* Dennis and Yvette will go over the standard list of pictures they take. If there are other pictures that you want, they will be happy to build a file to make sure all your request are met. It's important to them to find out who is important to you.

14. How do I go about booking Photography By Dennis & Yvette for my wedding?

* First begin by emailing or calling us to see if we have your date available. We only book one wedding a day, and we are on a first come first serve basis. Next, you will need to fill out the contract and give a deposit/retainer of $600.00. The deposit holds the date and goes toward the package that you choose for a wedding.  

15. When do I pay the balance?

Sixty days prior to your wedding date, half of the balance is due. The remainder of the balance is due two weeks before the wedding.

16. How will you be dressed?

*Dennis is dressed in a sport coat and tie, and Yvette is always in a dress or long skirt.
